Leonardo 4 Children 2024: Climate, Equaliy & Peace
Award “Leonardo 4 Music” by 16-30 years old music composers

The 3 works with the best scoring receives the following awards:

  • talent development programme, with a budget of € 750 (1st winner), € 500 (2nd winner in memory of “Ermanno Testi” music composer offered by Rusca family), € 300 (3rd winner) for each winning work, which can be used for developing the music skills of winners, for example via workshops, visits or material;
  • publication on “Leonardo 4 Children” book;
  • presentation at workshop and award ceremony; promotion on website, social media and promotional material, at public events, institutions or public places including famous museums, and during concerts and events;
  • “Leonardo 4 Children” award certificate.

Jury

The Members of “Leonardo 4 Music” Juries are professional composers and musicians, with international and multicultural experience and special sensibility for children and charity activities.

The Jury for the competition included the following members: Anastasiya Petryshak, Carmine Padula, Stefano Cucci, Ayumi Nabata, Erika Zoi, Gisella Cosi, Jovanka Visekruna, who with great enthusiasm and competence have carefully assessed the participating works and scored them on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Inspiration on the selected topic of climate, equality and/or peace;
  • Creativity and originality;
  • Quality of music melody;
  • Quality of vocal and choral elements;
  • Alignment of the work with the selected fable or winning work (optional).

Talent Development

For winners, please fill the L4M 2024 Awards  – Talent Development form to apply for the Talent Development programme.

The award will allow participants to develop their musical skills, linked to one of the following global issues:

  • climate action and environmental sustainability
  • social equality including gender equality
  • peace between people
