Leonardo 4 Children Piedmont & Aosta Valley Diderot Project 2025-2026
Thanks to the Diderot Project of Fondazione CRT (Italy), the Leonardo 4 Children foundation continues for the second year with the Diderot Project, addressed to schools of Piemonte and Val D’Aosta (Italy), for children and young people between 6 and 18 years-old.
The programme features in-person workshops in collaboration with IUSEFOR and Mus-e (Italy), the possibility to participate to the “Leonardo 4 Children Awards” 2026 and a “Diderot Special Award”.
Impact
The Leonardo 4 Children Foundation has supported the education of 11,215 children and teenagers in Piedmont and Valle D’Aosta with 34 experts who provided 193 workshops on different topics related to Climate, Equality and Peace. 436 students participated in the Leonardo 4 Children Awards 2026.
Workshops
Experts held workshops on photography and how it can be used to convey messages of peace, equality and the importance of taking care of nature and planet Earth. During music workshops, children had fun singing and learning new songs about the themes of sustainability and equality. Children reflected on Leonardo da Vinci’s studies both in drawing and in the mechanisms he created and through simple and engaging dance exercises they felt a deeper connection with art and science. Children moved in connection with others while listening and perceiving the delicate balance between living beings and the value of diversity while respecting equality of rights and duties.
