Top 10 Winners Fables 2025: “The Friendship in the Magic Forest”
At the Ethnography Museum students painted ceramic pots in a creative workshop. At the Natural Sciences Museum they visited the Planetarium, watched a film and modeled planets from plasticine. At the Art Museum students explored artworks with guidance from a museographer. Workshop: students planted flowers in painted pots with children in need and donated them (this activity has not been carried out until now). Students published the fable “The Friendship in the Magic Forest” in an e-book.
“We learned to be more creative in art and writing by painting ceramic pots and modeling the Planets with plasticine. We discovered new things about planets and nature, practiced teamwork and kindness, and gained digital skills by publishing our fable online.
This experience helps us to be more creative through painting, modeling, and writing. It teaches us teamwork, empathy, and feeling confident to share our ideas through art, science, and stories. We want to develop our talents to make a better and happier world.”
Top 10 Winner Art & Science 2025: “W-Y-B: This is the Right Bin!”
The students attended to a workshop that consisted on learning about the characteristics of clay and ceramics and how they are worked; they modelled one piece with their own hands, and they painted it with a decoration of their choice. Thanks to it they developed both their artistic knowledge and skills while working in group. Even if each one created their own piece, they shared what they were doing with the rest of the group to get inspiration or suggestions, therefore sharing ideas.
“Students enhanced their knowledge on clay and ceramics, and learnt how to work their hands, together with different tools and materials, to achieve the design they imagined.
This experience has stimulated the students curiosity on different artistic technics, in this case, a traditional one such as pottery, directly linked with the Mediterranean culture in general, and Spanish in particular, to the point that they are already thinking on doing another workshop related to it.”
Top 10 Winner Art & Science 2025: “In Our Way”
The main activity is to purchase materials, especially musical equipment to improve their skills in art, especially in music.
“First of all the teenagers, with their own musical intruments, will strength their memory skills, they will be able to focus on progress and of course to boost their confidence! Sure this may be a motivation, as they can practice anytime and in their own place, to compose their own music or improve as singers! In addition they gain valuable life skills such as discipline, perseverance and confidence.
The students now, with their own instruments in hand, can explore their creativity, improve their technique and develop their artistic potential! The teens can delve deeper into their instrument or even in vocal technique, discovering new dimensions of their talent! And of course they will improve their prospects and strengthen their audition portfolios!”
