Summer School in Florence

Carano 4 Children Foundation is pleased to present the Leonardo 4 Children Academy Summer School: “Climate, Equality & Peace”.
In collaboration with leading cultural institutions, including Fondazione Zeffirelli and Museo Leonardiano of Vinci, the 2026 edition was launched as a first pilot programme, offering a unique educational experience in Florence from end of June to beginning of July 2026 through interdisciplinary and creative workshops, cultural visits linked to the genius of Leonardo and the topics of climate, equality and peace.
The project included some activities at the prestigious headquarters of the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation with workshops related to cinema, opera, and theater inspired by maestro Franco Zeffirelli.
Erika Zoi, internationally renowned composer, conductor, pianist, and educator, along with Maestro Gisella Cosi, violinist, conductor, and educator, guided participants through a journey dedicated to exploring the musical universe inspired by Leonardo da Vinci.
The Leonardo 4 Children Summer School was founded with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary music education capable of establishing a dialogue between music, art, and cultural heritage, enhancing the talent of the new generations.
The choice of the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation as the workshop venue underscores the connection between Florence, its cultural heritage, and artistic education projects aimed at young people.
