Leonardo 4 Children Academy
The project “Leonardo 4 Children Academy” pursued, as a general objective, the development of artistic and scientific skills by children and young people, used as a tool to become responsible leaders of the 21st century in addressing key global issues, such as climate change and equality.
The project promoted international and multilateral policies – such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – and EU values and principles – such as rule of law, human rights, transparency, governance, equality, solidarity, universal education.
The “Leonardo 4 Children Academy 2024-25” – funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme – has been completed and the final report with all results achieved with the final assessment score of 76% has been approved by Erasmus+ national agency AEF-Europe.
The Leonardo 4 Children Academy was chosen as a candidate to be featured in the Compendium of Good Practices organised by the European Commission ’s DG for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, under the project “Culture and Democracy Study and Peer Learning – School/Culture Collaborations for Civic Engagement and Critical Citizenship Education.
